Quality is shifting from conformance to performance
Whereas in the past a quality team could focus its efforts on maintaining regulatory compliance, today senior executives expect them to break out of this silo and have a direct and meaningful impact on operational and economic performance throughout every area they touch: From research and development (R&D) through manufacturing and out to external suppliers. It all comes down to the quality team’s ability to drive top-line revenue through the faster delivery of higher quality drug products to the market with minimal complications and waste.
